Project Description:
The purpose of
this project was to provide emergency standby power for the Atlantis
Hotel and Casino. The 6 paralleled units were composed of four 1650
kW generators and two 1250kW generators. They were paralleled
together with switchgear for a total of 9.1 Mega Watts. All of
these generators were housed in individual, sound-attenuated
enclosures to decrease the noise they create and to protect them
from the environmental elements. The switchgear was located in a
separate enclosure.

Project Description:
The purpose of
this project was to provide an uninterruptible power source for a
utility rate curtailment program. The 4 generators were housed in
individual enclosures and paralleled for emergency power. They were
then paralleled with FPL’s utility service to ensure that the plant
received a continuous power supply. The project met all codes
including the Hurricane code for Dade county.

Project Description:
The purpose of
this project was to provide emergency standby power for the Sandy
Lane Resort and Hotel. The 2 units were paralleled together with
the capability to be paralleled with the utility power source. The
control system was designed to monitor all of the hotel distribution
breaker loads. The units were housed in individual,
sound-attenuated enclosures rated at 65 dba’s and installed in the
utility building at the hotel.
